Prices for a cakelava custom designed wedding cake start at $6/serving for buttercream icing and $7/ serving for fondant, and increase based on complexity and artistry in the design. There is a $500 minimum order. We will gladly quote a price for a wedding cake once we discuss the custom design details with you.
Prices for custom designed celebration cakes, excluding sculpted cakes, start at $6/serving and increase depending on size, decoration and specialty artwork involved. Non-sculpted Celebration cakes come with a choice of a buttercream floral or festive design (swirls & stars or flowers & swirls) and additional charges apply for custom work. Sculpted cakes have a higher starting rate. Please call Sasha for a price quote. Retainer We ordered a cake from Rick and Sasha for one of our great friend's belated birthday party. Because everything was last minute, they promised us a 'surprise design'. When they came to deliver the cake; we were completely speechless. It was the most beautiful and classy cake design ever. Later in the evening, everyone was even more pleasantly surprised by the fact that something so beautiful and intricate could taste so good. They were just spectacular. For the Skyline Chili can, it took many folks a long time to realize that it was a cake - even Brady. And as you said, there were many finger marks in the icing as people verified that it was cake. I guess this surprised me, since I'd seen the photos of the work you guys do so many times that I figured people would know it was cake, but like you said, most didn't. Brady and I had pieces of the cake and the taste was just incredible. Not surprisingly, the cake was decimated within moments even though we served haupia for dessert earlier. For the wedding, the cake captured our theme so well. It was such an integral part of the decor as you'll see in some of the photos. The guests who had cake just raved about it and several of them had two flavors ... Hopefully we'll be out there in Juy next year for our anniversary and can order our anniversary cake.
